The beach club aspect was also very cozy and a great place to do some reading. The beach is so beautiful and you can walk for miles if you want. At the end of the day, they brought tea and some chocolate mints. I loved that they provided the ability to make a fresh cup of coffee every morning with a simple glass flask. The outdoor balcony was a fantastic place to start the day and end the day. The shower was the biggest that I have ever seen. There are little things that even made it better like the Mexican art work throughout the room. It was quiet and had a view of the ocean. It would be great if they added an all inclusive option for meals and drinks, however we still would come back with or without it being all inclusive. I also appreciated the daily tea and on the last day they gave our baby girl a teddy bear. Each day they made sure we had a new bottle. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel provided us with bug repellent. I could see other hotels did not do that, but La Zebra did. I also appreciated that the hotel cleaned the seaweed each morning before the sunrise. All of the places we wanted were within walking distance including a cool ice cream shop. Dinner was great as well, however when we wanted to try other restaurants the front desk was super helpful. Each morning we ate breakfast at the hotel because we loved the tres leche pancakes and mollete (without the bread).

One day he brought out sand toys for our kids to play with and even took the time to show our baby girl how to use one of them. Marco was our waiter for the entire time we were there and he was extremely kind and helpful. One perk of the penthouse was that it included a cabana on the beach which we really appreciated. For covid testing they arranged for the nurse to come to our room so the kids literally got out the pool to take the test and got right back in. My kids range in age from toddler up to age 11 and they all were happy. Our kids were able to bounce between the jacuzzi and the beach. I believe they have multiple penthouses, we stayed in room 34 which I think offered the best view. Zaama treated us like we were her family and friends. When we arrived in person, Zaama and all of the staff made us feel very welcome. Whenever I texted they responded in a timely manner. I was able to call through whatsapp and text. Zaama was able to answer all of my questions, she even booked our tours. Everything about our stay was amazing! Before the trip I was able to speak with the front desk via Whatsapp. We are a family of 7, so we booked the Penthouse and a regular room.
